How to Find Us

Walking and Cycling

The village of Derrington is located a few miles west of Stafford. The most environmentally friendly method of visiting Derrington Millennium Green is on foot or by cycle. The Greenway Walking and Cycling route (which runs from Stafford through to Newport) passes right by the entrance to the Green, plus public footpaths from either Stafford Castle or Aston by Doxey also lead to our village.

To access the green from the Greenway there are two kissing gates which can be found using What 3 Words: ///post.flap.shady and ///mime.track.skin

By Car

Our car park has limited spaces so if you can always walk or cycle here (see above). If the car park is full, you can use one of the alternate car parks (see below).

Travel along the A518 from Stafford towards Newport. Turn right for Derrington just after you have passed under the M6 Motorway Bridge and travel into the village. Turn right into St Matthews Drive and go as far as the Church. Turn left into Church Lane and follow the road down until the public highway becomes an access track. Travel slowly along the track to the end and you will see the car park just past the old railway bridge and near an entrance.
